Group Puppy Training Classes in Bristol

Few things compare to the joy and anticipation of welcoming a new puppy into your home. You’ve probably bought a new bed, new toys, a tiny collar or harness, but what you might not have considered is how demanding and overwhelming puppyhood can be!

If you want to start off on the right foot, give your pup the best foundation, and avoid the common pitfalls that can lead to stress and confusion (for both of you!), then this course is designed for you.

Bringing home a new puppy is often both exciting and overwhelming

The “New Arrivals” Course offers structured, supportive guidance during this crucial early stage of development. Whether you're a first-time puppy parent or simply want a smoother experience this time around, you’ll be joining a friendly, small-group environment with well managed sessions and real-life, practical advice.

Puppy Training Classes

This comprehensive 6 week Puppy Training Programme encompasses the perfect balance of learning theory, practical in person training, study from home guides and ongoing support. It includes:

  • In our first session we’ll connect on a video call in for a relaxed and informative session covering all the key prep work. how to set up your home, what to expect in the first 48 hours, toileting, sleep routines, and what’s really worth focusing on (and what’s not!). This pre-arrival call gives you the chance to ask questions and feel confident, all without a curious little pup chewing on your shoelaces mid-conversation.

  • Our first in person session will establish some solid foundations and training techniques that you can use throughout the course and beyond. We’ll introduce the puppies for the first time with well managed interactions and social time.

  • Learn how to address common puppy struggles you might be facing. We’ll develop skills that can be used out and about in day-to-day life.

  • We’ll look at how the skills you’ve learnt can help build your puppy’s confidence and help them feel supported by you.

  • This week we’ll review what we have learnt over the course so far, and tackle any sticking points.

  • Our final session will take place at XXX where you can practice the skills you have learnt in a real life setting, with the support of your trainer and new found puppy pals.

But don’t worry!

I’ll still be offering 1:1 training sessions during this time! So if you’d like some personalised help with your puppy or dog, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, or check out my 1:1 training packages or my study at home puppy bible.
